Tuesday again and time for a new list challenge from The Broke and the Bookish .
Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get
1. Waistcoats & Weaponry (Finishing School #3) by Gail Carriger – the latest instalment in the Finishing School series. Absolutely love these books and can’t wait to read this one.
2. The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire #6) by George R R Martin – this can’t get written and published soon enough. I need to know what happens next asap.
3. The Mirror and the Light (Thomas Cromwell #3) by Hilary Mantel – absolutely loved the first two parts of this trilogy and I’m so looking forward to the last instalment.
4. Lamentation (Matthew Shardlake #6) by C.J. Sansom – my cousins in London turned me on to these a couple of years ago and I absolutely loved them. Can’t wait to see what new adventure lies install for Matthew.
5. A Banquet of Consequences (Insprector Lynley #19) by Elizabeht George – even though I found the latest book a bit below the usual quality of this series I still love it and want to read the next book.
6. Abattoir Blues (Inspector Banks #20) by Peter Robinson – still love this series after all these books, can’t get enough of Alan Banks.
7. The Beat Goes On (Inspector Rebus) by Ian Rankin – a collection of short stories starring my favourite Edinburgh detective John Rebus.
8. Flood of Fire (Ibis trilogy #3) by Amitav Ghosh – I still haven’t read the second book in the series but I do own it. Loved the first one so am looking forward to reading the other two.
9. Dime Store Magic (Women of the Otherworld #3) by Kelley Armstrong – really liked the first two books in the series and am curious to see if I’ll like this (if I understand correctly) less Elena based book.
10. Written In My Own Heart’s Blood (Outlander #8) by Diana Gabaldon – ok, so I’ve only read the first two but I own the first seven in the series. Am waiting for this to come out in the same shape and size as the others so it’ll look nice and neat on my shelves
The Winds of Winter jag blir GALEN snart av all väntan.
Eller hur?!
Jag ser också fram emot nummer åtta i Outlander, men jag måste först införskaffa nummer sex och sju. Hoppas på att få dem i julklapp 🙂
Låter som en bra plan att önska de i julklapp:)
